The U.S. House of Representatives reconvenes this week, with a 3 year reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program on the “suspension of the rules” calendar for tomorrow (Tuesday 9/11/12). Please contact your representative in the House TODAY (using IIUSA’s 375+ signatory letter to House leadership) and request that they vote “YES” on S. 3245 when it comes up for vote TOMORROW!
The Senate aleady passed S. 3245 (on 8/2/12), meaning after the House acts tomorrow the legislation will head to President Obama’s desk for signature. IIUSA will keep you updated as we move forward into the final stages of the legislative process.

We had to fight to extend the EB-5 Program in 2009. It was over Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ holding EB-5 hostage over E-verification elimination… Guess what: we won! We shall repeat the same again this year because EB-5 is the best way to US residency through investment for immigration! It is a win-win for all program! American jobs are created for Americans by the thousands: 10 jobs for each EB-5 investment. Surely, like in many other programs there were, are and will remain “rotten apples”, Regional Center community is not immune to greed and fraud. These are very few and they are being exposed day after day… Why are there so many foreign individuals and families dreaming about the USA? Why is the majority of the world’s population dreams about USA’s light at the end of their tunnels? Having emmigrated from the USSR 37 years ago, my family, friends and I live this dream to this day! Each participant / investor and their families will go through years of trials and trepidations until their dreams become a reality. Uprooting a family is so painfull, only an immigrant that has gone through the process can understand… Ask me – I’ll tell you what the first 3-5 years were like… My first impressions were such that “America has too much Freedom; and what is Democracy?” The answers came years later: how do you measure Freedom and quantify Democracy? YOU CANNOT: EITHER YOU HAVE IT OR DO NOT – THESE CONCEPTS ARE IMMEASURABLE… Why so many around the globe wish to be FREE and fly if they posses a gift of wings? Every human being has wings! IN SOME LANDS THESE WINGS ARE TIED BEHIND THE BACKS OF THE PEOPLE; IN OTHER, THEY ARE TIED AND CLIPPED AND CLIPPED AGAIN AND AGAIN… America is the only country that allows you to fly if fly you wish! If it means through the EB-5 RC program, so be it! This Country was built by Immigrants through fire and ice – let us never forget the roots of our strength! EB-5 Regional Centers work very well if presented by decent people. The crooks will be exposed just like the “pigs that get slaughtered”!
We are in the process of building a luxury resort in Orlando, FL that when complete will have hired about 4000 individuals that are in dire need of employment.
The EB5 program will be greatly needed to accomplish this feat.
